High School Open Houses

This is an update on the high school open house dates in January. These tours are open to all students whether they are designated there or not. But, I recommend you attend your designated school tour before visiting another school. Colonel Macleod School will not be attending any high school tours during school hours in the new year. It is strongly advised that you attend your designated school’s open house.

High school course selection will be happening in the new year. It will roll out as I receive information from each school. High school transfer information will not be available until February or March.

Please check the school websites to learn find out when their open house is.

The CBE values the importance of grade 9 students touring their designated high school and attending the evening Open House for designated high schools and high schools with specific programs under consideration. As such, we encourage parents to attend (or go to) the open houses/school tours if your child is designated to that school or if you are considering a transfer to that school. High school transfers will only be considered if the request is based upon programming.

The grade 9 students will only be attending online grade 9 high school tours of James Fowlers High School and Crescent Heights High School during the school day as they represent the feeder schools to which most of our students are designated. For more information about transferring to other CBE high schools, please view the high school websites below and/or contact the main phone at the schools.
